Caneros tab Brandone Francis, ex Rajawali

Brandone Francis

Caneros Del Este (LNB) signed 31-year-old Dominican Rep. 194cm small forward Brandone Francis (college: Texas Tech). He began the season at Rajawali in the Indonesian IBL league. In 11 games he recently played, he averaged an impressive 18.5ppg, 4.3rpg, 4.3apg, and 1.4spg.
Three years ago, he represented the Dominican Republic at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers. During the tournament, his team made it to the Semifinals, and he averaged 4 points per game.
Francis is a very experienced player. He has traveled between seven different countries on four different continents during his pro career. Francis has played professionally in Colombia (Cafeteros and Bucaros), Dominican Republic (Metros), Spain (Gipuzkoa), Venezuela (Frontinos), NBA G League (Iowa Wolves) and Mongolia (Bodons).
He won the Indonesian IBL championship title in 2023 and was voted to the Dominican Republic League All-Star Game in 2025.
Francis graduated from Texas Tech University in 2019 and is currently in his seventh season in pro basketball. He also played for the University of Florida for 2 years.
